On June 7, 2020 the Softball BC Board of Directors approved the return to play plan for all Softball BC member associations in the Province of BC.
Softball BC has developed a Fantastic Return to Play Guidelines to safely return to the field. This document is the plan that we must follow to return to play. It is not a return to normal or even the new normal at this stage. It is a thoughtful, comprehensive, phased plan that will ensure we can be as safe as possible in accordance with all Provincial Health guidelines.
BMSA has approved a supplementary document unique to our park and our league. It provides a few additions to Softball BC’s plan. We will be sending it out to our membership very shortly with a set of waivers to be signed by allowing them to participate in the programs we will be scheduling following the new guidelines.
We’d like to thank everyone for their patience and a special thanks to everyone who helped build the plan to allow us to return to the field!
Each team will have some new roles to fill and ask that everyone steps up to make this season a safe success!
